Cooking and motivating people are both my passion. I believe cooking is the other way to communicate love toward family and friends. A lot of life’s lessons can be taken from cooking, a daily routine yet contains great values to lead someone to be a better person.”

The Artist Journey

Raise in a small town of Sungailiat, Bangka, the limited facility gave me no choice but playing cooking game. I was surrounded by family members who could really cook!  As a kid, most of my time was in the kitchen area, and I often helped my grandma, aunties, and mom did the cooking. Went to the wet market and met people were one my favourite activities.

At Primary School, SD Harapan, I won my first cooking, Sungailiat. That was the only competition I’d ever joined. As teenager, I started to cook in my Junior High and continue until my High School. I always enjoy cooking and baking for friends and family. I actively involved in cooking for food bazaar while study in Perth, fulfill the desire of  Indonesian students eating home food.

I was eager to try new recipe, just to prove myself that I could do it!  My curiosity to create new dish is also part of my target. I am called to impact culinary world in its unique way, sharing love thru the dishes itself. Many lesson could be taken from my colorful background, both the good and the bad.

My experience is a tool to connect my self with others. I truly think everyone deserves to live a better life starting from our own self acknowledgement, that leads us to higher level of life holistically.
